Wicked

i was able to go see the musical Wicked for my birthday 2 weeks ago. it was FANTASTIC. ok, the songs were a little hookie, but the rest of it was AWESOME. so definately go, just don't expect the songs to be the best ever :O) i had read the book it was based on years ago (actually on my honeymoon, over 3 years ago), but didn't really remember the details. they managed to take the complicated story and compact it into a good story/musical that worked really well. they had this very cool dragon above the stage that breathed smoke and moved around. it was well worth the 3 hour drive from madison, wi to downtown chicago to see this show and it was the best birthday present ever!!!!
GO SEE WICKED!!!
