The L Word

**SPOILER ALERT - DO NOT READ THIS POST IF YOU WATCH THE L WORD AND HAVE NOT SEEN THIS WEEKS EPISODE**

i am sad... :( they actually had dana pass away from breast cancer. the l word is one of my favorite shows and they have had a wonderful story line with dana discovering she has breast cancer and what happens when a person has to deal with cancer. unfortunately they decided to have a core member, an original cast member die. she has had lots of really good story lines too, she is the character that we watched come out of the closet and admit she was gay, everyone else had already dealt with that issue. we saw her go through her first lesbian relationships and falling in love with alice. i was shocked when this season started and they had broken up and dana went back to an old flame of hers. what did they mean by breaking up best friends and significant others dana and alice? it was heartbreaking to see how crazy alice got after the break-up. and during the last few episodes it looked like maybe they would get back together once dana got through the chemo, alice was the one person at her side and taking her crap.

so sad... :(

i will miss you dana!!!!

all my friends of the female persuasion - make sure to do monthly breast exams and go see the doctor if you suspect any lumps. early detection is the best way to treat breast cancer.
