Today the hubby and I were invited to come along on a road trip to Maryland to a really neat rock / mineral shop. We had a really good time. The store was amazing, any kind of rock or mineral you could think of was in there. I managed to find 2 wonderful fluorite pieces that decided to come home with us and Roland found an azurite piece and a really cool egg shaped piece. The traffic was really backed up on the route back so we detoured through Washington D.C. I have now finally been to D.C. We stopped in Chinatown, at an Irish pub for lunch/dinner :) It was a really cool pub and the food was yummers. As we were driving around I saw the Smithsonian, the capital, the Kennedy Center and the Washington Monument. I am looking forward to going back and visiting museums and historic places :) As we were leaving the Irish pub the driver discovered she locked her keys in the car. Oops, hehe. We ended up sitting on a corner waiting for her hubby to show up with the keys. Happily it only took him about 45 minutes to bring the spare set. We had fun people watching :)

these candles are AWESOME. they burn so long and they burn totally CLEAN. no residue at all. i love them. and the scents are amazing. even when you mix them, they smell so great. my favorites are coral hibiscus and mango tangerine :)
