Happy St. Patty's Day

Sorry I haven't been blogging that much lately, but nothing that exciting has been going on. I am still slowly unpacking. I think I have all my books out, now I have to organized them on the shelves, and thats quite the project. Roland found my missing altar items in 2 plastic containers so I was really happy to know they were not lost.
This morning I convinced Roland to drive me to Krispy Kreme, yeah its like 30 miles away, but hell they are sooo worth it. You should check out his blog for his version of the story. Yeah I have only had one or two of the donuts, but now I have lots to enjoy this evening and tomorrow. Damn, I LOVE krispy kreme donuts. I haven't had once since I went to a friends wedding in Vegas a year and a half ago.
I am now starting the 2nd trimester of the pregnancy. I need to choose a doctor here in the area, Roland just got my the link to find out who I can go see. My next appointment should be in a few weeks, so I need to call for an appointment on Monday. I just hope I can find someone I like that is nearby. Happily there is a hospital just down the road from here, so that is good, we won't have to drive to fairfax or farther for a hospital.

Safe and Sound

We have arrived in Virginia safe and sound. It was a very, very long overnight trip, with little sleep, but we made it late Thursday morning. We were able to get into the house late afternoon on Thursday. I LOVE our new home. It is nice and big. I get to have a HUGE office, which will be good when the little one comes along and I try to work and watch the baby at the same time. Roland is going to use the very large front room as his office / media center. I promise I will get some images posted of the outside of the house soon, and will put up pics of the inside once we unpack, which will probably take a while. The other good news is that the movers arrived Friday morning with all of our crap, so we can actually unpack this weekend if we wanted to. We are soo used to moving and having to wait for a week or more for the movers to show up, so them showing up the day after we arrived was a pleasant surprise. Happily we were also able to get the internet up and running Friday night also.

The Big Move

Welp tomorrow we head down south to Virginia. Now that the move is here I am pretty excited to see the new house and to check out our new town, but I am still really bummed to leave New England. We made some good friends here, but the funny thing is that the couple friends we started to hang out with are moving away also. I will miss the Snow Geese the most. :( So very sad to be leaving them, but happily we will still keep in touch, and I will continue working with the Black Forest Clan and learning their tradition.

On the Road Again

Well after 8 happy months in New England we will be moving down to Virginia this week. Roland will be spending the next few days finishing up the packing. The movers arrive on Tuesday to pick up all of our crap. Happily Roland will be taking care of the movers and making sure they take the correct stuff. I will be working while they are here so I can get as many hours in I can this next week. Roland will be cleaning the house on Wednesday, while I work again. Wednesday evening we will pack up the stuff we are taking with us and craming ourselves into the car. We will make the drive down to VA overnight and hopefully it will be uneventful and I won't have any nausea. We will get the keys to our new place in Virginia on Thursday. If you did not get the email with our new address in it, please let me know and I'll get it to you.
Have a great weekend!!!

And we are moving to....

Virginia. Roland has finally completed his job search and will be accepting a job at EA/Mythic. This will be a great job opportunity for him. I am a little bummed because I didn't really want to move to the greater DC area, but I guess I'll just have to deal, lol. I don't really have any other details right now. We will probably move down there mid to late March.
The pregnancy is still going well. Last week I was put on some antibiotics, and those were really tough on me the first few days, but happily I only have to take them through tomorrow. Still no morning sickness, just some boughts of nausea on occasion.
