Drake is silly boy, lol. He as pulled several books off of my shelf and is sitting under/in the exersaucer and playing with the pages. I guess the saucer is so much more fun when you don't have to just sit in it.

Strangeness

So there has been once aspect of pregnancy that I had not anticipated, and thats all the snot, yes, snot. I have always been slightly congested, and was used to that, but now its on an epic scale. No I'm not sick, or have a cold, its just regular 'ol mucus. I guess once you get pregnant your mucus linings go haywire in anticipation of giving birth. I just had no idea how much I would have to blow my nose per day, hehe, it kinda amuses me :) Oh yeah and I'm sneezing more often now to, at least once a day, whereas before I would sneeze like once a week. We may need to invest in some really good, soft kleenex soon...

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
neither, apple cider

2. Does Santa wrap presents, or just sit them under the tree?
just sits them under the tree, but we usually get our presents early. we like big, spendy gifts at our house. i got an 80 gig iPod a few months ago for my xmas gift :)

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
White. (but actually its neither, i was going to make roland put up lights this year, but since we are renting and still w/o human children we will wait until we have our own home next year.)

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No

5. When do you put your decorations up?
no xmas decorations at our house. i guess i could find my santa wreath, but goes along with the house renting thing again. i will be getting really nice wreaths and single candle lights for the windows next year.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
green bean casserole

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
going to look at xmas lights with the family on xmas eve

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
no idea, i sorta remember my brother learning about santa / easter bunny cuz he found stuff in mom's trunk one year.

yes, one, if there are any

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
haven't had a tree in years, we'll see what happens next year.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
love it, can't wait for the first real snow fall, but i get really sick of it by the end of february.

yes, but not beyond the basics.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
my garfield sleeping bag. my brother and i both got sleeping bags one year and we opened those on xmas eve and slept in the living room that year :)

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
the spirit of the season, being good to others, and the xmas lights, i'm soooo excited that we moved somewhere that actually puts up xmas lights (unlike Madison, WI, they SUCKED!!!). the weekend after thanksgiving everyone puts up the lights outside, sooo pretty. can't wait to go look at lights this year.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
cherry pie & whipped cream

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
driving around and looking at xmas lights on xmas eve

both, i wish i could afford to give everyone presents :)
