Serenity the Movie

roland and i went to see serenity this evening. it was AWESOME!!! it was actually better than i expected and i expected a really good movie. i definitely recommend that everyone should go see this movie and support this movie. they did such a good job with tying up rivers storyline, i was very impressed. it was great fun to see the characters again. i just love their dialog, its shiny :O) i really want to participate in a roleplaying game in this world/genre.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT READ AFTER THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE!!! I WILL BE DISCUSSING IMPORTANT PLOT ITEMS THAT WILL RUIN YOUR SURPRISE/ENJOYMENT/SADNESS IF YOU KEEP READING. YOU CAN'T SAY THAT I DIDN'T WARN YOU!!!!!!

i was very, very sad at the end of this movie. it really pained my soul when wash died... it hurt... i really really like him as a character but thought that zoe was my favorite, but after his horrible, horrible death, i have come to realize that he was my favorite. i LOVED his little sayings and his amusing dialog - "oh god, oh god, we're all going to die..." "i am a leaf in the wind..." what a great character :O( tis boo, very boo (sigh)
but i was happily surprised that mostly everyone else survived. i was sure they were all going to die at the end and miraculously they didn't. river just kicks ASS, you go girl.
i can't wait to buy this movie on dvd and watch for the small dialogs we missed in the theater because everyone was hollering about something that just happened.

bottom line: go see this movie!
