Weight Updates

So the other day Drake went to the Pediatrician for his 1 year appointment. He is still in the 10th percentile for height and weight at 28 1/2" tall and weighs in at 19.8 lbs.

Tonight I went to my second Weight Watchers meeting. I lost 4.2 lbs. woo hoo!!! So far it is going well and I am staying on target. I just need to pay attention to what I am eating and track it all. I am also using their online tools to keep track of what I am eating, it's really easy, especially since I am near my computer all day long.

So yesterday I went back to my first Weight Watchers meeting in almost 3 years. I knew that I wasn't going to take it seriously unless I made myself accountable and found myself some support. So now I am back on track and resuming a healthy eating lifestyle. Oh and I have also re-dedicated myself to being vegetarian.

Back On Track

So this weekend I admitted to myself that my weight is getting outta control again and that I HAD to do something about it. (Of course reading Valerie Bertinelli's Autobiography that talks about her Jenny Craig experience did help spur me on.) So I have gone back on the Weight Watcher's plan and I have started exercising again. I am bringing this up in the blog to help me be accountable to more than just myself.

In other news poor Roland was sick all weekend with food poisoning. After getting to work today he discovered that several other people he works with were also sick, so it was from a company lunch on Thursday. If you want his side of the story, check his blog.
